Taliban also charges taxes and does business with civilians providing them necessities - food water electricity fuel etc. are Taliban activities supported by neighboring governments? Pakistan is certainly the main supporter of Taliban. It cannot run the expense of fighting Taliban in its own territory. Iran cannot be ruled out to patronize Taliban. Trump as President did not make attempt to normalize US relationship with Iran to bring it to US side. Does China support Taliban? Yes, indirectly. China has business interest in West as main supplier of Technology goods. Its prosperity suffers if its business interest is hampered. China would finance any agency media anywhere to enhance its business world over including America.
US is its own enemy ~ it has created corporations internet giants who do not wish US technology prosperity. Their earnings are too from human addiction not yet banned but it affects 90% US labor population. These corporations also dominate and finance any attempt to regulate them. their earning is selling drug habits and collecting personal information unrestricted. elsewhere they are regulated but currently they are selling all US residents Personal Information whoever is willing to pay for the same wherever. This must be stopped.
Any solution to this has to be chalked out by US Government alone looking at the entire situation. US has to restrict not only Taliban but also US Internet Giants at home. It has to bring back its labor and engage them in all technology areas for domestic productions; US must divert money spent in war and for global leadership. US must negotiate with China Russia and other countries who can indirectly harm US since US no longer can afford fighting any kind of war or conflict outside US till it stabilizes itself economically and establishes its technical superiority over products. in Communication technology it is already about 3rd place despite its promotion of internet giants. The motivation can no longer be that was in 1950, when survival for capitalism required monitoring home telephone conversations. It is no longer affordable but harming US technology leadership. US is openbook and all its private information is on for sale unrestricted. IP rights are no longer defendable. technologists are smarter than Law.

US should not be fighting any war outside US; such war is not possible to win unassisted by surrounding regional countries. US must now arm every individual of Afghanistan to resist domination by force. US must not negotiate with Taliban; instead every Afghanistani must have arms to defend against Taliban, if they so wish. US must also provide infrastructure and communication ability to connect with each other. Every one must have cell phone free. US must provide arms and connectivity to every Afghani above age of thirteen via current Afghan Government channels schools banks offices whatever and as soon as possible. US then get out of Afghanistan forever. No looking back.
