bhakti and bhakta flood
I participated in the dialog below but withdrawn my comments ever since but decided to publish here. my opinion is unrelated to ground reality as i am non-resident and not lived in india for nearly 20 years. i don't even know the characters and their parties. who is where and when. superficially i know right now it mob rule all over india ~ loot mar ~ my personal impression may be far from present reality. 50 years ago i lived intimately with many junior and student doctors in kolkata. i was fond of their association but avoided drugs and remedies and habits. my recent experience with them is unbearable for any association - unbalanced greedy professional gang robbers. i have removed them from my contact list and i stay away from their touch.

• Kaushik Bhattacharya There is a method in the madness of M. She knows that if the situation persists, public opinion will turn against doctors. Similarly, article 356 will only make her a martyr. She has all the time in the world. In contrast, if she comes out as a winner, her tough image will increase one thousand times. She is a master in brinkmanship games.
o Sagnik Sinha Kaushik, this is our leader, we brought her to power in 2011.

o Kaushik Bhattacharya One thing I can honestly claim: I had no illusion about her. I have a lot of sympathy for those in ISI who opposed CPM. However, I feel between an easy option and the right option (pun intended), they chose the easy one. I decline to believe that they were not aware of this side of our CM. There were enough hints. They opted voluntarily to be blind.

bhakti unbelievable few decades back is sweeping bengal ~ ... saibabas ....mahatmas ...pirs and unheard of places of worships that promise miracle ranging from cure to kill...

one cannot change india too far gone superstitious; but changing oneself is always possible ~ by distancing oneself from blames and beliefs

• Anil Bharali If there is respect for Democratic Tradition from both the sides across the table at a time, yes it is possible .We know why LTTE had failed, we know Jyoti Basu succeeded and Bhudhadev Bhattachajee had failed.Only Democracy is the best tool for negotiation to settle the public issues and demand.
