once i was told about some memorable secrets that i cannot tell without letting the secret out about very large institutions and their source of fundings. similar to democratic party. recently we see harvard is in the news. one person i knew who was frequent visitor to my place, he had along with teaching assignments, was treasurer of the very largest university in USA. he told me unlike everybody else Indian students pay their tuition dues entire year in advance. he knew this because all cheques came to him for clearance. the same university had ratan tata as board member.

money cloud move freely and do not have territorial demarcation. the cheques were not from Indian banks however. there were far too many indians studying in that university. he said his office was next to another skyscraper where these indian students lived. most of the parked cars were mercedez. another person who teaches computer science in the same university told me that no indians in his department including those doing graduate studies, which usually are funded, avails any scholarship; but most of chinese students obtain and avail university funds. 300 in number.

one other acquaintance who became IT professional who was a nuclear scientist to start with; he told me a story many times. he wrote a fortran program 35 years back and discovered that he was the only person from his department could write a program; it was a data entry program. when his nuclear physics job ended he attended a career fair and got a job in an insurance company with a condition that the company has to hire his wife too. he is possibly still working in the same company even now after perhaps 35 years. his wife is working as a contractor somewhere else. he has made a business use of IT. She takes some online course with his help and joins any opening if there is, till the contract lasts. of course she does not know anything. at night they work together or take help of someone else, including me when there is urgency. they are both very devoted god believer and human demigod believer - SAI BABA devotee. By now I am not a believer and avoid all Puja ceremony that takes place anywhere... This person is the only person I know who voted for Trump. He is also very skeptical about Indian IT at large. His company engages about 3000 plus indian IT engineers. He is also very doubtful about CEO of Microsoft and Google etc. He says the mustard to be used for dispelling ghost has ghost in them. this saying can be understood by people from Indian origin. not surprisingly they hire many undocumented Indians with no college education. So is banks where his wife is a contractor now and then. his two children are practicing medicine. I can guess how come he is such a great believer of sai baba. he has to save his assets earned and invested from disappearance. although he is not very mobile himself but takes pain in pilgrimage to places of worship in india and had fallen sick and hospitalized many a time. My story of him is not complete unless I tell some more. He is one person who sleeps openly like me in party. In his sitting room in the middle there is photo of guru Nanak. I was told he is Bhrigu, his Guru and from punjab. Bhrigu supposed to have written fate of all human beings. He says all his property will be for his grandchildren and not his own children. He does not have one as yet. He has some hair in the back of head that he let grow indefinitely. Otherwise he is mostly bald. This i presume shows his devotion to his guru. He is extremely conservative. He does not use salt to melt ice in his driveway. It seems it spoils the driveway. He has some flowering plant indoor but otherwise he plants fruit trees.
