i have never voted in india and i was there for 50 years.
i keenly followed elections from outside. i had lot of emotions; and followed win and loss till late hours at night. the first coming of bjp was a lot of thrill. i was emotion choked with oratory skill of bajpai. however i was very negative with manmohan singh and modi. modi i could not trust at all with any kind of doing good even remotely for anybody. i did not like his gang of people and they showed their teeth like mad dogs and incompetence in the national level. they are village yatradal without any brilliance. how it was possible that they were unstoppable; i wondered long. the gang is unthinkably without education and merit. they are demolition squad for all institutions - the list is endless - planning commission educational institutions rbi defense foreign services etc. the list of people we came across unthinkably uneducated - street performers. modi started with hugging tours all over the world along with his yatradal - garva performance artists and street yoga performers. they made cheap impressions and tried destroying all beliefs and respect foreigners have about ancient Indian philosophy and yoga - the source of human inspiration for self or godhood realization - unthinkable in west or elsewhere.
india alone said the most respected being is yourself. the unselfish one. the creator. you can best be absent; and allow world as they are without your touch or care. the best you can be silent and not interfering.
I am aghast with bjp influence in the creation of political parties and vehicle for bjp winning machine at educational institutions. Directorship as well as honors were rolled to people that can only bring down education level that is already rock bottom.
the cheap tricks did not work. they were national disturbances. people money energy wasted at par with muhammad bin tughluq. demonetisation creation of inr 2000 currency. bank looting took place at unbelievable frequency. the unaccounted money had been seized in this election as per EC.
i did not really appreciated the previous corrupt gang of congress that bjp at center replaced. most deplorable character was manmohan singh who was bent on promoting his honesty without containing dishonest performance of his colleagues.
i was waiting to see some future in politics for India.
rahul is a surprise. he was unlike any i have seen in nehru gandhi family. his father jumped into throne not waiting. so was his mother. but he waited to learn the sentiment of people and his link with india. sankara travelled wide in the subcontinent of india and established 64 pilgrimage centers both worshipped indiscriminately by hindus and muslims both before islam was born. Places of worships had divinely attributes as gifts from mother planet. they are in desert icy lakes origins of rivers snow capped cliffs and river confluences
rahul strangely embraced as this connection with mother earth and subcontinent of india root to identify with. not nehru gandhi ancestors. he was not excited about the abuse hurled towards him by politicians and bjp hindutva promoting gang - rss and maniacs killing people trying to prevent cow slaughter.
it was not true cow slaughter and eating flesh of cow was banned in ancient india. in fact we read in upanishads - satyaketu asking his father in what heaven would he go donating a cow past the age of bearing a calf and not to be considered consumable. We are taught to respect farming. We did not have cultures - ours and theirs anywhere in our ancient books of philosophy and practice. Beyond the 64 destinations of pilgrimage we are asked to journey towards the space within our heart that is devoid of People.
after you have seen all divine manifestation - try and enter the temple of your heart that is remain empty without you. it is just enough space to accommodate you and none and nothing else. it is waiting for many births since your first birth.

I have been following Rahul in his tour of universities in US and Europe. He did not spend time in rhetorics. He humbly did not describe himself forsaking his family for political career. He accepts that he is born in nehru-gandhi family and does not disown for pleasing crowd. He believes and dreams in creating new India away from dirty politics and working hard for the same.
That India is secular and can be prosperous without being biased or discriminatory. It is one mother and 1.2 billion offsprings.
I am happy that in one year it is showing result. Modi Amit Irani Nirmala Arun rajnath's hindutva rath have been halted despite 80% 1.2 billion of India being Hindus. Hindus are not taking this drug anymore.
