last few nights i am dreaming about Laha
after seeing a very large advertisement I applied to a startup company called Interra
today I have no regret for any moment for my life
I had a call to meet him at his residence cum office in new friends colony
he was not a very good talker and not at all impressive
he had a large desk full of files and papers
he was missing most of the time while I was there
memory has holes
I joined his company shortly after
he tried to project himself very human open minded and Bengali
He was bengali to one extent only
he must gain somehow and anyhow
he has no respect for patience
he was extremely selfish
he insisted on subservience
nothing can ever be achieved without patience and perseverance
he did not know
I did not understand his business model
he said that it is him who started offshore software business in India
he was with a US company
it was in the second floor of one building where ABC was in top floor
he was replaced by a 25 year old engineering graduate by his US boss
I was very novice
his business model was to do offshore work such as testing that can be done without much interaction
this i did not follow
the other business model of his
sending on shoring people with business visa
he would send some software professional for lowend jobs using business visa as long as they can stay there and make rapport with that company
either get H1B sponsorship or get some job to do jobs externally otherwise
when he cannot stay there any longer on Business Visa
Government of India then used to give lot of incentive for every dollar earned abroad - no income tax was charged
within one or two weeks I was sent to US in business visa
I did not know what was happening
I was there for 3 months
fortunately I could not get along with the person with whom I was working
he used to manage about 10 people he was not interested to be reduced to zero with all his work taken away from him
His bosses were boss of Laha in his previous company
they had business interest in Interra
Walker Interactive System folded in 5 years
I was given a cobol program of 6000 lines and assigned to introduce about 12 lines of codes
in order to distinguish codes introduced by me - I tagged them with my initials date and comments
my manager did not like it
I removed them and that is the end of affair
I came back to India
I was immediately demoted
it is the company rule
any person who could not survive more than 3 months business visa is demoted
I was to stay there for another six months
I was given two ERP manuals of WIS
they were to be transformed from IBM legacy system to Desktop windows
I am lazy and found out a clever way to transform the documents in to a form consumable to Adobe Framemaker enroute new emerging technology XML not yet formalized
it was 1997
India did not have any law regarding software copyright or intellectual property right ot patenting
software was not worth the media it was preserved - paper disk or tape
any software or medicine is allowed to be copied many thousand times within or outside without making any payment to software companies
I on my free time as freelancer used to write many a software protection devices network administration devices for various media and LAN
I copyrighted them in India and also sold them to various organizations as well as government
I was in no way inclined to give my software to Laha and I used to keep them private and encrypted
whenever I was asked to show progress report
I showed Laha and his associate Sarkar for ten years the reports of actual transformation
Interra used to keep backup of computer everyday
Laha understood only money paid for individual by hours - his receivable and his payables to his employees monthly salary
he gave a promise of share on paper but not delivered ever to me equivalent to my my salary as bonus
He had no respect for intellects required for software engineering or development work.
It's measure is not limited by man hours received from his US boss.
He took my reports to his US boss. He kept my desk computer backed up secured
What transpired I would not know. He was still in US when I received my monthly salary which was less than half what I was receiving. I had never had any hope of receiving Share as bonus.
I immediately resigned and packed up my books and went home. I was asked to meet him when he was back
I did not touch my computer again. He came back. I was waiting to be called. I was called late at night. He kept a check on the table and started negotiation.
I told him I am not negotiable. I am not withdrawing my resignation. I had no notice period since it was not in his business model.
He threatened that he would make my life miserable. I got up and asked him to do that.
India is a strange place where any score can be settled by hiring goons for disrupting family peace, bribing police to unauthorized physical beating, hiring lawyers for litigation, and paying political parties. But he was not big shot and not very rich. He tried all these for six months.
He called some of my friends who knew the general direction of my software for document conversion I was writing. Three of them - IIT professor, one from department of electronics, and owner of private software company. The professor became his consultant to make some extra money.
I was on a holiday asked to deliver a lecture on new technology on document transformation independent f devices. Laha went and bribed police. He sent a letter from a lawyer threatening me legal action. He hired some goons to threaten my family.
I was harrassed for months. It ended on a gathering of 12 people including IIT Professor to show them what was done by me in a hotel. I attended the two day episode in one condition that I shall not be touching their computers. the workshop ended in my architecture design and end outcome and how Adobe used to create end result.
Laha liberated from my promise to my dead mother that I would not leave India.
I realized that I got to be nothing if I need to stay in India. But I had a family to support. I had no future as a software developer in India. I struggled another one year in the changing atmosphere in India, where there is no software development job as such. I got a job as a software developer in Germany. I got a job in US. I migrated with my family to US with H1B and H4 visas.
Today, India is earning its foreign exchanges from hourly labors from its offshore and onshore deployment of human labors alone. Trump initiative if takes place banning low intellect labor service visa, India shall be pushed back to 1995 when B2 Visa was norm for getting rich like individuals like Laha.
Trump is killing this service business as a whole. He is insisting on border wall and its funding from Congress and Senate. His method is shut down of Government machinery otherwise.
Despite all his chaotic and unreasonable governance and restriction and non cooperations from Government departments, unless he is impeached he shall be reelected in 2020.

I am nothing and cannot be someone or something. I can assume or predict. But I have to consume my undigested (my predictions my expectations) garbage on daily basis with no cooperation or help from my world.
My expectations shall never be met.
I remain undissolvable in my world!!!

Does world has any meaning to me other that it is what it is?

I do not ask in any manner in any language. I am independent self-sufficient and self-employed.I must die before I break my promise to myself and surrender to my hypotheses and ask. I keep my life outside my home for anybody to snuff it anytime. I am not in anybody's mercy. I do not guard them from vanishing.
I do not love me. I only love my world.
