can I use statistics for prediction for immediate future?
No way. We have words such as Level of confidence and probability distribution for variable random whose outcome we like to predict from observations.
Whatever be it - I am not very confident.

We also have another theorem which states a random variable X is characterized by by a function Expectation ( e ^ (itX)).
Machine learning or machine predictions are limited by the above.
