broken mirror
lover carry mirror ~ love. I loved and and i know the mirror called love. it is so fragile and it breaks even without any event. while behind my mirror, my love has her mirror and she is still trusting her mirror is in tact. while it is not.
25 years living together and enjoying love and companionship of each other the mirror with two faces lost one face. I am talking about divinity Ram. One incident, kidnapping of Sita ruined Rama's trust of Sita while Sita still loved him. For rest of Rama's life ~ while Sita kept expecting return of love in Rama. That was never to happen. Rama's mirror did not reflect love but his doubt.
Why? Why Rama, the divinity, could not quieten the noise in himself and accept Sita As her pure self! Why Rama could not ever look at Sita ever again without DOUBT. what is the doubt? The doubt could never be wiped out as long as Rama could not forget the kidnapper who was killed by himself but never forgotten. Rama could not forgive Sita who was guilty of nothing but her pure self. Whenever Rama looked at Sita he saw Ravana the monster. whose fault is this? So much so he had to banish Sita to forest unprotected and deserted by Lakshman who would do everything Rama asked without question or unasked. Did Lakshman not accompany rama to forest leaving his own loving wife, Urmila, mother of two children.
i cannot condon valmiki. my world would have been much different if rama had no doubt in himself about Sita or her children. why could not him love sita anymore. Was not responsibility of Rama to clean himself with Lava Kusha, durva grasses! and accept his inability to father any children while Sita was daughter of earth ever ready waiting to be mother. Rama could not hide from himself. Sita did not know or suspect Rama. Rama doubted himself and lived with the same all his life despite Valmiki bringing Lava and Kusha up as Rama's sons! Rama stood still in time with the incident of kidnapping of Sita, till he decided and plunge into river of time (saryu that flows non stop) flowing away from Ayodhya.
rama did not ever love himself again. Despite Sita loved Rama FOREVER. No question no doubt in Sita. Her mirror was unbroken and reflected her love. mirror reflects love for oneself. ONLY. Rama was hopeless holding a broken mirror. he could not throw away! all showerings of blissful divine moments caused rama blisters. his doubt of undoubtable absolute has physical and painful appearance.
no one is excused for doubting absolute not even Rama even if he is eye witness. absolute is undoubtedly perfect bliss.
